Try half a lob on the shank of a size 6 and a whole lob through the saddle; as mentioned the scent is a killer for many fish as it releases lots of amino acids. atb Paul

Yep, cracking well deserved fish. Bill, possibly an older fish, as the stripes do wane when they get on a bit. The 6lb fish from the cotswold water park last year, was pale and that pit is as clear as they come. Paul

Chris, You could try slacking off when quivertipping, which is what i do when the perch are being very cautious. I usually watch the line moving and hit the bites then before the line tightens to the quivertip; the bites are usually more confident and easier to hit due to lack of resistance...

Richard, Had my 2 FS7000s since they came out and they are still fine. I broke one of the handles due to heavy handedness, but they are real work horses. I use them for heavy duty flood/lead work as the gears make easy work of casting and retreiving big 7oz feeders. Paul
