I read this the other day and it just confirms my view that the EA hold anglers in contempt, all we are is a cash cow for them.

Would have been an informative read if I could open them, I just don't seem to be able to open anything from the EA even answers to FOI requests, I reckon they are doing on purpose because I am a nuisance :D

Unfortunately Mark those phone lines are often a waste of time, in my area only 6% of reported illegal fishing incidents were attended, really not good enough and certainly not what we pay for.

Why has a thread about rubbish left by dirty anglers turned into a dog owners bashing thread? yes there are those that don't "pick up" after their dog, they are probably the same type that leave rubbish on the bank or dumped in a layby or anywhere else so long as its off their hands, most dog...

Its a stick, stopped fishing with sticks when alternatives became available :)

Its a pity they don't publish the number of reports of illegal fishing that they dont attend, believe me its a large percentage of them.

I always consider it money wasted if I am not asked for my licence during a season, might as well have not purchased one in the first place.

I once took an expensive buzzer into work to see if the instrument fitters could repair it, they reckoned the bits inside were worth nowhere near what it cost to buy it and that they could be purchased for a few quid. :eek:

Yes Terry I mean exactly that :) its akin to there being no accidents in the road I live in therefore road accidents don't happen, all a bit daft.

Isnt that what started all this with Mr Salter doing exactly that?
