I use a Korum Day Sack for short sessions. Not sure if it's still available. Had mine for years and very pleased with it. It forces me to take only what is necessary and not load up with too many cakes and pasties, so good for dieting as well!!

Good point about the acidity of the water Joe. You could see the influence of peat in the water colour in some of the rivers. I just wish we had barbel back in my home county of Norfolk. Very sad day when they disappeared from the Wensum 😪

It's called fishing, not catching. What's wrong with trying to outwit a fish using "normal" methods, and if it gets the better of you...tough. Just re-tackle, re-bait and try again. I admire fish that are finicky feeders, its a challenge. But that's just me I guess? 🤔
