Does anyone have a number for Bob (the rod) Davies at all please they would be happy to PM me ?
I have a friend who’s lost his number and he has retired from the AD store in Brum.
Got all the bits for this now and really struggling to get the Preston angle adapters to be symmetrical either side. Driving me insane !!!
I don’t these the Korum speed adapters help matters either.
It was the last one on eBay I’m guessing they were selling them off.
Here’s the link for you just in case:

Delkim EV-D are £43.99 online and built like a tank.
They are waterproof, have lots of accessories / spare parts available and Delkim customer service is 2nd to none.
Buy used with confidence.
I only started using his baits recently.
I’ve fished a new stretch of the Avon all of last year and didn’t have a single barbel. Then I made some homemade boilies with some of his flavours and had 2 fish in 2 visits. Confidence ?!?!?
He’s recently re-released Search-4 and bringing out pick n...
Excellent thread - been looking for a tripod recently but didn’t want to fork out £70 on something that got rarely used.
Managed to find one of these new on eBay for £9.99 just now.
I had a parameter from about 25-years ago who’s uncle was into exotica and kept an array of Burmese pythons, lizards and birds.
We were around his one day and he was going through his photo albums of animals and came across a pictures of him sat with a bit cat through varying stages of age...
Ordered Sunday and arrived today, great service.
These hooks are immensely sharp and as others have said do come up a little larger vs. the competition. I opted for: 10, 8 & 6.
Great value for money and looking forwards to trying the out.
I always scan barcodes in shops to see alternative pricing, or for the actual pricing if it’s missing on the shelf edge label.
A barcode is typically a “Code 128” flat text tile and can’t have any £££ value associated to it, it will just return a series of alpha-numeric values.
A QR code on...
I saw some huge prints up at Barford (Avon) a few weeks ago underneath one of the bridges.
It was only when I got back to the car I realised I should have probably taken some photos with a can of coke for scale. It was the same day I went arse over tit so didn't really fancy the walk back...
Just got my Ray Walton as seen in this video - it looks too beautiful to use !!!
Got a bit of a bargain as was £385 (£399 RRP) new but got 15% in the Boxing Day sale so paid £327 for it in the end.
Just treated myself to the Ray Walton Y4050SLG.
Went to buy it today and a certain retailer has it at 15% off so saved a good chuck of cash especially as their RRP was £385 anyway.
I had this problem with my folding spoon.
I emailed Korum and they wanted £4.99 for the spreader block (that’s fair) but £10.50 postage !!!
Needless to say I told them where to go and swore to never buy their brand again.
The following week I was in my local tackle shop and moaned about their...
I find watching more and more of the older 90s/00s on YouTube lately as the new stuff has become tiresome.
I always check weekly for new Barbel / Chub videos and there are so many anglers now who Vlog and churn out the same old stuff. They basically sit on the same stretch, all use the same...
A lot of flood water fishing starts in the Summer.
Take pictures of the pegs you fish and look for drops / ledges where fish could sit when there is extra water on.
As others have said, slack water and a roving approach work well. If you haven’t had a fish in 10-mins then move on as it’s...
Fox duralite.
Not cheap but every well built and light as a feather. IMO the best chair out there and you can’t put a price on convenience when on the bank.
