This is similar to the Korum one but larger and likely better quality. 10% off first purchase too.
I’ve got a few bits from this brand (carp net / retaining sling) and the quality is second to none.

I’ve just joined HDAA after a few good sessions on the Wye last season. I was buying day tickets from Woody’s (very helpful) but he doesn’t open until 8:30 and I want to be fishing by 7am as it’s a 3-hr round trip.
I’ve done well with a smelly ground bait with no particles in as this tends to...
The image of me fishing the valley with a woolly hat on is about 10-steps from a camp site called “Camping Le Bellevue à Fumay
Thanks, yes that’s Ade’s old place it was a beautiful spot.
I think I just hit spawning time as catch rates were very low, one guy had been there a week and not had a...
Just spent the weekend fishing in Fumay, France.
Way out of my comfort zone on such a large and expansive river vs. Warks Avon I normally fish but a beautiful place to visit, with the weather being about as consistent as the local bar / restaurant opening hours !!!
Very few fish caught...
Still readable available but will be a different shape / recipe to when you used them last.

They still catch though so don’t be too put off. I’ve had barbel in the UK and French rivers using...
I don’t really fish the Leam, more the Avon and primarily at Barford (when there’s not a bloody match on).
Used to fish Wasperton / Charlecotte a lot but they’ve gone downhill in the last two years.
What about yourself ?
Yes there is a very big fish there. Came out twice last year.
I fish MF at the weekends in the summer and it’s a nightmare - by 7pm on a Friday there must be x30 lines in the water. It’s no wonder not much comes out. Midweek or a Sunday is likely the best time to fish it.
Not sure re Anchor...
The bag is the key thing for me - the larger it is, the more stuff you’ll be inclined to put in there.
I take the following when roving:
-Rod / reel (leave the rod bag in the car)
-1 pint maggot box with flouro / hooks / lead
-Freezer bag with chosen bait (usually meat)
-Net
-Mat
-Single bank...
Thanks - just catching would be nice as it’s tough going in my local river. General tactic there seems to be a feeder in the middle of the river, it does look like a great bit of water.
On a separate note how’s your waters been fishing this last year ? I’m down the road (Barford) and it’s been...
Thanks - sounds like the Wye a few years ago, minus the kayaks !!!
I didn’t realise barbel were in such abundance over there. Shame Ade sold up as have heard nothing but good reports.
Bit of a thread-bounce on this one as am looking to fish the Meuse later this year, likely July / August.
Has anyone fished in Fumay at all please ? I came across a really a good YouTube video (Paul Floyd) and it looks a nice spot, not too far to travel to by car and some camping areas / hotels...
The farmer who owns those fields must have seen something over the years even if it’s just prints.
Any chance you could post those pics again please as they look to have been deleted ?
Thanks for the feedback.
I’ve heard a few podcasts where the carp boys talk about the full fat GLM powder vs unfatted.
They also say there are two variations of the full fat. The cheap stuff like nutrabsits sell and the more expensive stuff like FeedStim
which is x3 the price !!!
Me and my mate fish Harvington and he said he saw a big cat last year.
I had no reason to not believe him especially when this was reported a few weeks ago:

Looping in @John Care as I’m sure a...
