Can anyone remember back in the late 80s when 'centre of gravity' leads referred to ball leads?? Also, I think mahseer weights back in the 90s first developed the now called 'cog' but mahseer had a wire loop from the tail to hold the line not a plug and hole arrangement like the Korda model.

i recently had to return items back to fox and chub due to faults. Both items were returned with accompanying letters explaining those faults and whilst i didn't receive return postage costs, i did get full replacements within a very quick time.

I think that the seller is mistaken. The specialist is a 1/2lb solid top with a 1/2lb quiver - I have one! I doubt very much that its a 1lb avon that has some how found its way into a specialist rod bag. Thanks for looking all the same guys!

Thanks but that's the wrong rod. His sale is for the specialist that has a 3/4lb tc if my memory is correct. Its not the 1lb avon.

As my old gardner net used to attract every shrub for miles around to it, resulting in a tear. I replaced it with the same model but the new one dosent have any of the screws that had been problematic on the old one so i guess gardner have now sorted that small problem out.
