Went into hospital at 7am on Wednesday morning. Unpacked my gear and did all the admin with the nursing sister. My anaesthetist came and had a word followed by my consultant. After getting into my gown and mesh surgical pants I walked to the operating theatre. The anaesthetic sat me on a table...

Had my last session on the river today for a while. Having second knee replacement next Wednesday (2nd). Should be back on the river in September.
