Well mine does Anthony,… great rod. Bob would probably elaborate. Perhaps somewhere deep in the bfw archives there’s still the catalogue of Bobs rods?

Bob G. built me a torrix 12’ 1.75/2.0 lb tc twin tip some years ago,… it’s still my go-to barbel rod after a good decade of use. Can’t compare with other compatible blanks in that range as I’ve always been happy with what I’ve got.

Thanks for that Joe,.. really interesting. I’ve often thought there was a link between kingfisher plumage and light, as sometimes when I’m looking at a perched bird through the viewfinder I lose sight of it and think it’s flown only to find its still there almost colourless.

Whatever Joe,… bait dropping 4 or 5 pints of casters plus hemp into a near bank swim has become a thing of the past since retiring,… have to economise with the humble fast sinking pellets I’m sad to say.😉😁

Sunrise across the Stour this morning ( well sort-of). Could’nt get near the main channel even with waders so this is the flooded adjacent meadows.
