I make my own with JBs stuff , find it more rewarding and adds another dimension to my fishing , personally think off the shelf stuff is much of a muchness and made to a price point . I’ve had some great results with my own bait but very rarely with off the shelf stuff , so that’s good enough...

I’d look at Howsham it will suit your methods perfectly. I’ve fished it a fair bit and really enjoyed it . In fact I might get another York book this year . It does get busy though especially early on in the season .
