    Hi Kyle and welcome. The river at catcliffe is in fact the rother which has some nice barbel In if your prepared to find them. There's no chance of spotting them even when low in the summer, it's to coloured, it's just a case of getting out there and fishing. Best bet is walk the river and bait...

    TFG do a 8 / 10ft avon rod that comes with various quiver tops. It's a great little rod and very versatile, I own a couple butNot sure if they still do it though

    Just hook it through the mesh twice or if your casting far out hook it on where the lead is using mesh hooks or even snap tackle
