simple is one thing... useful is another! I cycle everywhere so very carefull about what i use. It must have as many uses as i can squeeze out of it.

Got to agree with Peter here to a point... In my eyes i try to find a slack spot to put the bait. My theory is that food would be flowing with the river so why would it settle in harsh flow. so finding a deeper hole where stuff will collect is a good place. Works for me....

Thanks Rhys.... Came as a complete suprise! Andreas dragged me out to a spot we have never fished and i could not see anything! It was a blind cast 1ft off the far bank and frozen crossed fingers :D
