    There are plenty if waterproof bags for sale in camping/hiking shops etc... they come in very handy and pretty cheap. I now use one for my psp after that went for a little swim in the Thames. my psp still works, I left it a jar of rice for about 4 weeks (i was dreading turning it on) but works...

    I have the solace, bought the over wrap for nights/extreme weather... its big enough for 2 people to sit under. If I am on my own I can fit my chub Lo lite my mountain bike (front wheel taken off) and my trailer and sit inside it comfortably!:D

    Agree with that Keith. At my little local lake I spend a few hours teaching basics like knots etc after work on my way home. If I spot a group of kids/teens fishing alone I try and help ad best I can and advise on the basics, next time I see them they have normally been to a shop got better gear...

    Dave... we ended up with Grey 9'-12ft stalking rods and the jw youngs barbel stalking rod... but saving space and weight with other stuff can be fun to find too ;) I was tempted to buy a pair off bob, but I really would feel uncomfortable transporting them:rolleyes:

    Just had a quick look into fishing in Germany.... http://berlin.angloinfo.com/information/32/fishing.asp To obtain a permit for fishing an exam has to be taken. Could you imagine what would happen if this happened in this country:eek: I am thinking of fishing near dusseldorf/deinslaken...
