For me in general the rig offers a combination of stiff abrasion resistant mono boom with a flexible and more natural / inconspicuous braided bait presentation (mono or flouro depends on water clarity, substrate (eg rocks, gravel, silt).
There are many ways to tie the mono to braid and I use...
No they won't, as I discovered recently  Luckily I had a pair of brass storm caps on my Korum brolly so drilled them out and switched them over to the Diawa Mission brolly which also has large graphite ribs and put the Cygnet ones on my Korum brolly, I have left the grub screws in and...
I switched to ESP Syncro XT Loaded at the start of this season and have been so impressed with it I just purchased another bulk spool to load on my carp reels for the summer ;) 👍

Hi Simon
I found a frame from a Fox Adjusta chair washed up in a bush without the seat canvas several years ago on the Wye after a flood.
It has hung in my garage waiting for me to come up with a plan for re-covering it ever since, any ideas welcome 🧐
I have several Mitchels including a couple of 300's and a Match that haven't been used for years but never had a problem with them except the lack of free spool which was important for me ;)
would be happy to sell too;)
Coincidentally the second pair I am referring to is exactly the same ones which I also bought as a result of that post and they have lasted me 4 years so far including 2 years beating ;)
I have two pairs of Muckboots One pair has so far given me 8 years of service and the others 4 years but the second pair were given a severe beating (scuse pun) through the last shooting season where I yomped 10-12 km twice a week on shoots, and they are spot on.
So do the maths, £30 quid...
