Nice job! Dave Lumb did an article in his blog with something vey similar. I bought the white and clear shrink tubes but never got round to doing it. It's the whipping that puts me off doing it, that aspect of the job can the difference between a really nice job as in your pic or a bit of a mess.

Keep an eye out for the Daiwa theory rods in 2.25lb, they come with a standard top section and a quiver top section with, in my case, a 3oz and 4oz quiver tip.
