looking for new rivers to fish

I found this on the net it was from Feb 2003. The initial stocking last year was carried out between Stoke-by-Clare and Boxted, and the latest exercise relates to fisheries at Brundon Mill and Mill Meadow, Sudbury; Pitmire, Cornard; lakes at Bures and the river near the Anchor pub at Nayland

looking for new rivers to fish

Ray Some small Barbel were put in Pitmore lock by the late Ted Head these were quite small fish though. I also saw a picture of a double caught from the stretch below Pitmore but this was more years ago than i care to remember.

    Braids (hooklengths)

I've used braid for hook links for both Carp and Barbel for years and I've got to say I've not seen any damage to Barbel or Carp caused by braid(hook links). I now prefer coated braid for most of my fishing namely ESP Tungsten Loaded Semi Stiff it knots well, doesn't need steaming, sinks well and...

    Bivvys on the banks.

Trakker Tempest Brolly. I've got the V1 easy to erect, plenty of room for a bedchair if needed. Or you could look at this https://www.cyprinus.co.uk/collections/umbrella-brolly-systems/products/rapide-mk2-55-brolly-sytem looks the same as the Aqua Fast and Light without the Aqua price tag.
