Chris I tried them back in the 80s on the Kennet caught a few on them too,they need to be prepared properly they were soaked in water with salt added and then boiled we also used them with hemp.I think there are a lot better baits available these days.

I think the early seekers had a full duplon handle and i reckon someone has changed the bottom half of the handle for cork,they were indeed 1.75 TC. I found an old picture on Walkers web site check out the handle.
