Smaller Shimano Baitrunner. Like 5010? What's used these days??

I bought a pair of Mivardi Kappa 4000, quite cheap, not used them in anger, but they seem well built and very very smooth, quite deep spools, and spare is graphite.

High back comfy chair that's light.

Is that a Trakker levelite high back ? I have one, didn't think it reclined.

High back comfy chair that's light.

I have a Trakker levelite Longback chair, it has arms , but doesn't recline but I do nod off in it. I did have the original JRC cocoon , extremely comfy and reclines, only reason I got rid was that it was quite low to the ground.

    Tackle reviews

Not anything to do with me, just something I came across on another site, but is what I would call a proper revue.Would this type of revue be helpful, or just overkill? http://www.alanhawk.com/reviews/rycar.html

    Reel hunt

Sadly, I never got round to using them as I have got back into match fishing, so have got rid of most of my barbel and carp rods and reels. They were very nice in the hand, and size wise they are (the 4000 & 4500's I had) slightly bigger than a shimmy 4000 DL. Great value, but seem to have been...

If so, tell them you are stocking trout. I could possibly get some from the bloke who sold me my Border Collie

    Reel hunt

I forgot to mention it comes with a double handle as well. Daiwa handle on left, Shimano DL4000 on the right.

    Reel hunt

I ordered 4 Emcasts over the weekend, 2 x 4000 & 2 x 4500, had a message that 1 was now out of stock, so from one shop got one of each, and another 4500 from another place. The 2 from Total Fishing Tackle turned up today (one of each) and look to be spot on sizewise. They are almost identical...

    Reel hunt

Well, thanks for all the help, decided on the Emcasts, had to act quick as they were disappearing fast on ebay.

    Reel hunt

I'm pretty much settled on the Emcast BR, 2 aluminium spools, double and single handles, seem to be a bargain at the moment, possibly due to the newer (and in my opinion poorer) LT version. Just got to decide size now.

    Reel hunt

Are the 6000 OC reels physically smaller than x Aero ones ? There were a couple for sale on here. Were they the Fox EOS or Strattos ? I had Strattos and they were VERY heavy, possibly to do with the 16 bearings in it, over complicated and fragile, a shame, as on paper it sounded great. The fox...

    Reel hunt

I had X Aero 4000's a few years ago, again, they just seemed too small on a 2lb barbel/carp rod. I sold a pair of aero GT 5010 to fund the x-aero 6000 reels, they were a nice size, but felt a bit woolly. May have to wait for a shop to open, so I can have a look at them in the flesh. Any...

    Reel hunt

I sold a pair of Shimano X Aero 6000 as I found them too big, then got a pair of DL 4000, but find them too small, so like Goldilocks, I want something inbetween which will be "just right". With the current situation, going out to try is not on, so trawling the net I have come up with 2...

You could make them using old film canisters/tubs , https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/50PCS-Plastic-White-Film-Canister-with-Lids-Storage-Container-Empty-Bottle-35mm/303268573012?hash=item469c372f54:g:wq4AAOSwfUZdZ4X6

    Aldi Fishing Gear

The sizing of clothes is ridiculous. I have several jackets, ranging from medium to XL and they all fit.

    Float Rod

Not used one, but handled one, seemed rather heavy with quite a thick blank.
