YES - got out yesterday 530am fished until 2pm.... not a sausage! Which is super strange as you say was ripe for a bite or too. I think I was too early for the window and something tells me it will be 4pm to 6pm. I will try that tomorrow!
Hi Jeanne-Pierre,
Welcome to BFW. I guess I'm late to the party and what all the other men have given is properly sound advice as always. So I will give you some recommendation based on my personal experience.
If you prefer rolling meat and touch ledge ring, then you cannot beat 11' 1.75. I...

Even if AD uses a hosted site, I would be surprised if they didn't manage their own credentials, which are of course linked to financial transactions. They are not bobs tackle shop 😂
I would argue against that.
This is an issue of AD IT team bad managamanet of usernames and passwords. It has nothing to do with the host or twitter. This hack is on the DNS level, you can only redirect DNS if you have login credentials to the registrar.
I use only two knots for all my fishing which is limited to fresh water. Mostly using the Palomar and sometimes grinner. I've not had a single palomar knot fail in all my fishing, on any line which ive tested.
Nb: of course for barbel I am using knotless on the hook with a hair, so my only knot...

I am struggling to find a mainline that I love and am confident in breaking strain, abbrasion resistance, low diameter and concealment. I don't really like to use braided mainline for barbel. I would love to hear what you guys use and trust for your barbel fishing! Cost of the spool doesn't...
I use these, I do not trust anything digital near water. Very small, light and reliable.

I pair 2600 with my torrix 11" 1.75 and no they arent too heavy, for me it is perfectly balanced.
edit: if i'm trotting meat or touch ledgering then i'll switch up for ss1600 ;)
I am relatively new to barbel fishing, only had 3 full seasons under my belt. Can you explain to me what is the benefit of baitrunners? From all the fishing I have done, albeit fishing on small/medium sized rivers I see them as counter intuitive. I have however, caught many fish during this...
I only use ss2600 and 1600 for my fishing, I love them so much at this point there is no reason at all to consider anything else. Like Richard mentions, they are way ahead of their time, the quality of the machined parts it what sets it apart. You can feel it every time you play a fish.
Found this one too, like was mentioned before most pellets back in the day seems like it came from the Aqua feed industry and was of a superior quality.

Yeah my thoughts exactly, i'm not even going down that road of rolling my own. It's hard enough to get out of chores and on the bank 😅 if I start rolling my own boilies i'm in for a world of pain :p
