Excellent write up Paul. I have an older borther living in Thailand who keeps asking me to go over, I have looked at MB's place a few times and have been temepted though the wife is not keen, hates the heat and fishing :(
Well the rod arrived yesterday. Impressed with the quality of it, a nice matt blank and had my son hold the 2.75lb tc and loads of power all the way to the butt. Nicely balanced with a Shimano 6000 and looking forward to give it a try in March on the Trent.

I was at the UKMPA conference dinner last night, damn messy sticking a bunch of them together in a room :p
I have the old accessory chair and the roving ruckbag. I had a set of shoulder strap I bought for my old chair so just drop the legs off the chair and hook the ruckbag over the frame of the chair. The frame of the chair sits comfortably at the base of my back.
