The Antares Specialist quiver is, in my opinion, a bit light for most targeted barbel work - mine is used exclusively for big roach & chub. The Antares Specialist is much more powerful, and is a great barbel rod for smaller/slower rivers - not so good on heavy leads/feeders or fast flows...
