    Hinders elip pellets

Quiet possible that they have just switched production suppliers.Practically all our hard pellet comes from aquaculture feed suppliers practically the difference between extrusion machinery and constituents can produce quite a difference in aesthetic quality of the pellet - i.e. skretting...

    Soft flurocarbon????

Dependant on the breaking strain you were lookin to use often the stuff used by fluff chuckers is quite supple and considerably cheaper - a fiver for 50 metres compared to a tenner for 20. To be fair its most probably exactly the same stuff used by other coarse brands just re packaged...

If your talking about the kennet around newbury most of the time im down there it will be BAD luck if there is 2 people and most of them knock off as soon as it goes dark. Kicked out for catching too many!

I think to be honest all this article does is high light that there a lot of petty and generally unpleasant people associated with angling. Both the angler and the club have proven their equal worth in hopeless behavior to a degree - as everyone has already discussed.

    Salt

I use quantaties of maldon to introduce hemp and caster in a pva bag. Didnt seem to deter the barbel in the slightest. Salt has been proven to be medicinally beneficial for practically all species of freshwater fish. In particular as a cheap healing and calming agent in the transportation of...

    The answer to crayfish.

I think its more likely the amount of preparation involved. Costs them nothing for a large frozen bag of shrimp tails from the back end of nowhere. quick once over in the deep fryer and you have yourself a £6.00 chinese meal. Boiled an immense pan of the blighters up the other day for nowt more...

    River Wey, Addlestone, Cemex.

Interesting stretch, if you wander around down there long enough you should meet the baliff - cant for the life of me remeber his name, but he certainly has had a few fish worth talking about. Boilies and pellet being the standard fare. About half way down during the summer a huge bed of lillies...

    Korum Seamless Hooks

Brilliant hooks but given I have caught 99% of barbel on 'seamed' hooks as many others have I cant really see the point in re-designing the wheel - perhaps why they are being dropped?
