My opinion is based on what I've witnessed with my own eyes and ears on venues I fish. You may not have witnessed any of the three P's on your venues, which if true is a good thing. As for commercial fisheries I meant on a spiritual level, natural waterways of course being the home of real...
Exactly the response I was expecting. The government don't care about the human population, why on earth would they have sympathy for dwindling fish stocks. They probably view rivers with contempt, taking up valuable real estate building land on an already vastly overpopulated island. Perhaps it's...
Worse winter I can remember. Windows of opportunity have been so small that unless you're lucky enough to have limitless time on your hands it's almost not worth bothering.
And why not Richard,if it's OK to take grayling then surely it's OK to take any other species. We can't discriminate, that's like being some sort of fish racist!Zero tolerance is the only answer.
That antiquated rule I think in this day and age needs to change.A rule written in black and white gives the EE's carte Blanche to take what they want, they don't distinguish between a barbel a carp or a grayling.I personally don't give a flying **** if the odd river angler takes a small fish...

I have a friend who has used one since the start of the season on two different rivers.Net result for his efforts are his catch rate has actually dropped quite dramatically, probably because he's too busy faffing around with said gimmick......the word sucker springs to mind.
I use the attx from Gardner, silent heads, waterproof even when immersed in the river(oops)and very long battery life, having the sounder box in your pocket on vibrate facility doesn't alert the swim chasers also.
Don't say that John, after the spring I've just had, which was spending loads of money on natural baits and casting endless feeder loads at GHOST tench.I need a bit of gentle encouragement and enthusiasm on your part, tales of bite a chuck double barbel and aching arms on the lower
