I have a mint condition Peregrine Specialist Floodwater Barbel Rod Mk II, 11'9" 2 Piece.
I actually have 2 of the rods but only use one of them as a Barbel roving and carp stalking rod with a centrepin, the second rod sits unused as when I use 2 rods I go with my Chimera Snag and Flood rods...
There are less fish than there were and you need to do a lot of walking to find the pockets, you also need to be very stealthy or you will spook the fish.
Baiting and waiting works well but can be time consuming.
