    I'm just so torn....I have several free spirits feeder rods which I love and a couple of acolyte ultras but I'm looking for a rod that's not heavy and will cope with decent barbel....mybeyes keep going toward the acolyte specimen but I'm just so unsure

    Your korum superlite brolley should come supplied with 2 storm pole attachments remove the central pole attach the two storm poles peg it down.....and it's very robust I can assure you

    I fish the river ribble and by enlarge the banks are mostly pitched not flat for this reason the korum superlite brolley is ideal.

    Just didn't want to put a reel on it , hook a barbel for it to blow the top section....that would be a very expensive mistake as iv had 1 acolyte tip snap during a normal float fishing session....hence my reservation and curious to find out what other people's recommendations are
