Paul, I have a pair of Drennan Specialist 1.75lb which have the Avon top and then the separate quiver section with two plug in quiver tips. Both are used but very good condition. I also have two Shimano 8000 XTEA reels and spare spools to go with them if interested. Sorry, Now all sold !

is the blank like the one made by Mr Tunley, where the top section is the quiver tip, or is this just a normal three piece blank?

Hi Jeremy, that was generally what made them so unique, very few of their rods were ever the same. The would start with the standard blank for whichever type of rod you wanted, then the rest was up to the customer choice. My reel seat was fitted later as I could not get on with the rod rings so...

Appreciate the reply, rod and pin, being realistic, good condition, not perfect so thanks for the heads up. Would probably guess £650 x £675 for the pair then as a reasonable guide.
