Thanks David, appreciate that. I have had a dealer call me but his offer was too low, understand he has to resell but even so was well below reasonable in my opinion.
thanks Julian, original price was £850, and others I have seen were around this or higher priced. To be honest I am not looking to kick the backside out of it, so it’s a first stab in the dark on the pricing. If someone makes a sensible offer then I am happy to consider it. Hopefully it will...
Seems like a lot of people are viewing but not much feedback regarding price, which leads me to think it might be a little high. I am open to a conversation about price with any interested parties.
Hi all, thinking of selling my Hexagraph 11ft 1lb rod. It’s a lovely rod, used but just had the...
Hi, for sale two of the above rods, used but very good condition. Both have two original plug in quiver tips plus the Avon sections, and their original bags, £150 for the pair posted.
Morning Richard, I have been looking at the foam bodies as I think some of the stuff I have been buying has come from the same supplier as you. I found a European manufacturer who will make any size, but they have a minimum order qty of 300 pieces, probably too much for one person but if you are...
Interesting last comment there Kevin, I assume that is in reference to the reel I purchased off you? I have a number of B James models, and all have been bought second hand, and all seemed to have loose check levers. In every case I have stripped the reels down and the issue has always been down...
Hi Richard, when you say you are waiting for the tips to arrive, can you explain what you use please? On most of the float making videos I have seen people tend to use cane or wood tips which are part of the stem. I know you are using metal stems, but I haven't seen anyone else using separate...
Technically you are correct, but I am not returning them in reality. By separating the tail section I can remove the main body which can be discarded and just using the tail section which carries no eggs. Grey area I suppose but there we are.
I had experience on the Great Ouse with crayfish, and actually found that catching crays and using their tails by just removing the end flared scales, and giving them the occasional twitch worked really well. Had many big chub and perch on them. I also used to peel the shells off the tails and...
Well a quick note to say nothing back apart from that initial email. Seems what others have previously mentioned about Korum customer service is true. 3 rods bags and £160 wasted, don't feel I can sell them because of the issues I have had, would feel awful if I sold them on and it happened to...
I have also had issues with new luggage, in my case some Korum products. I purchased a 3 rod progress holdall, a 2 rod version and managed to get a 2 rod transition holdall. I have had to replace a rod eye due to damage in the three rod version, and that has never been out of the house. the 2...
Hi Gavin, is that really the case? I used to use pro gold all the time, was as good as it gets, but then it became almost impossible to find so changed. Have tried a number of lines but nothing that ever equaled pro gold.
