    You’re right, they don’t. I think declared value cover meant they paid out only if it was clearly their “fault” rather than insurance which paid out regardless. So if the damage was caused by poorly packaged fishing rods then they weren’t liable. I could well be wrong though. And not...

    Someone, and thank you to them, recommended fedex recently. A bit of work needed to set up an account but they were much cheaper than everyone else and offered full insurance with no conditions when I send a couple of 12” 2 piece rods recently
