There has been a couple of 3's off a stretch early on this season.

Bin ok fer me on barbel but I'm fishin a few rivers depending on the condition

I and a few other lads caught in -7c air temperature over a weekend....its doable but you need to be in the right area....we favoured deeper water with Boilies as bait. It wasn't a bite a chuck but we all caught.

A crimp crushed at the end will form a "stress raiser" sooner or later a stress raiser will cause a fatigue failure. The longer lived the wire, the worse the problem.

When I fished exclusively fo barbel the book he wrote with Westy changed my approach completely.
