Can't answer your question Paul, but just remember that the lightest colour (the one that some anglers might prefer for hot and sunny days), Oatmeal, does not offer the same sun protection as the others.
Alternatively, get around the charity shops. I picked one up for a fiver and had a barbel over 8lbs on it, fishing the Trent. It bent wonderfully during the fight!

This is big enough to make two...and a cheap way of doing it!
Jamie are you using the rear-facing camera (selfie) or front-facing one? The latter has a much higher resolution. You can't see yourself on the screen but ten minutes of practice at home getting used to distance, stick height, and angles will have you sorted.
I think the problem people have with WhistleCam is not the app but their choice of lens. If they take the picture in selfie mode (rear camera) the resolution isn't the best and the flash isn't great either. Using the front camera on your phone means you can't see what's on the screen at the time...
