Thanks Steve! Finally a double!!! After 10 years!!!!
Now to get the picture up on here - any technical folk know how to get a 3MB picture uploaded?!
I guess we should just shut the site down now then!
I learnt 50% of what i know now through advice/help and tips from the kind folk on this site. Reading up and learning from literature is just as important as "being out there" in my opinion.
Just curious as to what other peoples thoughts were Simon - it was a subject that was raised amongst a few of us after the go fishing show. I am not angling for hints on river spots or swims - merely peoples opinions! If i was going to take the opinion of everybody who has posted on this thread...
Comes with Avon Top & Quiver tips of various TC's. Used 3 times!
Ideal for Barbel on Small rivers, although i have landed fish to 8lb from the Wye with no problems.
Selling due to upgrade in rod.
£40 delivered in rod tube
Steve, not at all mate, just curious what others thoughts are. Mine would be the Royalty followed by the Trent. Fear not peeps, i am not after your secret locations on your treasured local rivers!
Listening to martin Bowler on Saturday got me thinking. If you were making a film and HAD to catch a double figure barbel from ANY river in the country - where would you head to?
I have heard from a "source" that Shimano dont actually do anything when they recieve reels for servicing, just "clean them up" - has anybody experienced this first hand?
The Stour is very low, so you will get away with 1oz in most spots! Royalty you can get away with 1.5oz in most places, would advise rolling meat/roving approach during the day, then maggot feeder in the evening. As previous posts have advised - visit Davies tackle for latest updates
