I’ve just bought a mint 6000 with spare spools but in all honesty it’s a little large for what I want albeit it’s a very nice reel. I’m after 5000 size for my 1.75 rod for small river fishing if anyone has one in vgc.

Myself and my fishing companion arrived at the conclusion that as it’s the large fish which are female which we’re after the difficulty in working them out and their defiance of any logic has more to do with sex than species! This is confirmed at home on any given day!
