If true then Im sure that would have made the news ? I can accept that there might have been an escapee or an illegal release of one but otherwise I don't believe they exist, there would be much more evidence imo.

Stan's allows you to park behind your swim, probably the easiest access I know. It can get busy though.

Ive still got one with the Octoplus legs, did lots of trips to Ireland in the 80s. Very uncomfortable to carry.

I use an ESP bait pouch and a small bucket for the bait, just thread the bait pouch strap through the bucket handle before fastening and tightening. the bucket of course is also waterproof is if you wade a bit further the bait stays dry too.

Alex, I also use the red foam to pop up the maggots but I have to say that the second rod fixed heli style on the bottom tends to out fish it. Im using a short hookling about 2-3" on the pop up, what length do you use ?

I had a few Graham up to 11.8 but only caught a brace once, rest were single fish. Like David i didn't fish long sessions.
