There was also a SU version which was 2.25lb which...
Daiwa 11/13 come in 3 levels, Stillwater, standard, & stepped up either of the second to will do a fine job , had my oldest whisker Kevlar since the mid to late 80’s superb rods
Try finding a twin power XT-RB the clutch is superb I’ve had loads of mid double figure carp on mine superb build quality, but…. Expect to pay top dollar for a decent one…if you can find one at all
Just checking to see if there are any caravan & motorhome sites with barbel fishing that come recommended by you guys on here...
Well be getting a motorhome next year so will be looking to travel and fish.....
any recommendations will be gratefully received....

I must be lucky then….
I have a mint pair of super specialist Duo’s in both flavours 1.25 & 1.5lb
I also have one each of the original super specialist single tip rods which again are mint….
The 1.5lb rod is superb for floater fishing for carp had them up to 15lb on 8 lb main line….
If you are Match fishing then yes there is a big advantage with 2 pickup pins, even just normal fishing then the balance is better and the pins last twice as long before needing replacing,
I'd do it every time......
