As a heads up to realistic price I paid £90 for one second hand and I paid 200 for two free spirits , I know they are about 160 new but in reality you can halve that once second hand
The only blanks that keep their value IMO are Harrison's
Someone should redo the "gadabout " chair that McClaren made in the 70s - better than the cheap chinese steel copies that are around now as it was tubular alloy and quite light teamed with a small rucksack it would be great
Deerhunter trousers and jacket although you might not like the price plus it's not waterproof but an outer shell sees to that
Boots I use Brashers or for wetter conditions I've just bought some neoprene wellies (wychwood)
Yep my Santa Cruz was a 5k build , sold it though as too much bike for me
Scott are a great brand and this is not a bad bike to be fair for a starter "proper" mountain bike
I'm after a rod to hold all day, I've had plenty of barbel rods over the years but as my fishing has been primarily static weight wasn't an issue as they have been on sticks or on a pod
I've just found a few methods that are really producing results with moving baits but the rod I'm using is...
Well it's not getting used and so the time has come to sell this
Harrison 4 piece Avon 1.8lb tc 11foot
Good condition apart from dirty cork and has been kept either in a tube or a thinking anglers rod bag.
I would prefer pick up and I'm in Notts but would post if needed
These rods...
I got a special tool off Cliff Adcock but as he no longer owns the business I doubt that's a goer.
It looked like a flat disc with two points on the end for going into the grooves, you could easily make one out of sheet steel and a hacksaw
After spending years working out how to cast zigs the best way is out of a bucket
But put a ova nugget on your hook to mask it as I have been know to throw my bucket into the water lol
Stota
Using their Gravel grenades at the moment, was looking for a new bait as most of my old ones don't exist any more apart from one or two.
Caught a few fish on them, seen some BIG fish caught on them and will be by main bait for this season as I'm not into chop and change, I liked them...
My father in law just lent me one , it's fairly immaculate bar a bit of dirt , 1.75tc plus quiver top, I'll ask him if he will sell it as he's on free spirits now
