Sounds like a carper having a go at barbelling. Let's hope he's learnt something from it.
Wish I could catch six from the Thames. 1 would do at the minute.
Last Tench go for me yesterday. No Tench, a few decent roach and a 1 1/2 lb perch. Had to sit out a thunderstorm right above me. Hammered down for about 1/2 an hour.
Opposite for me, apart from the last one. They were getting bigger as I caught. 5 blanks from 8 sessions. 4 came in 1 session. Might have one more go on Monday.
Blanked again this afternoon. No one seems to be catching anything on the pit. All this high pressure. Think I'll try elsewhere tomorrow. Pellet waggler for carp.
Out again yesterday. Real struggle. At 7pm found a small worm on the ground as I was loading up the feeder. Putthe worm on my hook. Two casts later a 7lber. Only fish of the day.
After 2 blanks, 1 last Monday and 2 weeks prior. Got amongst them today. 1st bite snapped me as I connected. 2nd bite hook pull. Next 4 bites a 4lb12, 5lb1, 6lb and a 6lb7

Some so called anglers don't help. One of the spots I fish on The Thames is like a tip. I've seen old music centres and mattresses dumped. Maybe not anglers. But I'm sure the amount of tins. Spam, corn and beer mainly are anglers. Not just a few either. Add wrappers including...
