    Hi , I was using a Korum chair which was very comfortable but too heavy ! Now i have a JRC X-Low stalker , very strong , very, very light and comfortable , in my opinion an excellent bit of kit , especially if you have to walk a long way to your favorite peg !

    Diawa have a new line out at 20.00 but a tenner through BOSFISH , also Rod Hitchinson do a pair for ten quid , always carry a spare pair because you will either brake lose or forget them !

    The only regret i have is that 1 day a week is all i can manage and when i have a 'red letter day ' I cant get back the next day ! However thats why i rarely miss my weekly visits to the riverbank !

    I only fish mid-week , i very rarley see any other anglers on the bank , just how i like it ! Also i keep a very close eye on the Wye thread as well as cams and river reports. So keep the information coming lads , i rely on you all so i can catch more fish !!

    Afternoon chaps , I was lucky enough to get hold of a pair of simms waders and boots from this very site , however before that I found a good quality pair available on eBay , search bison waders , they come with very good reviews ! Happy hunting

    This tungsten sheet , just how flexible is it ? Does it have sharp edges once cut ? price wise I would suggest it is very good value for money and I shall buy some and use it over the next few weeks and leave a review. Cheers

    Jim I agree , keep your luck on the move and you will catch , you won't get lucky more than once being a lazy angler ! Going out and finding the fish is a skill !

    With a few months left to go.....how has your season been so far ?

    I have to say , pretty mixed , but my season came alive during November when I started targeting the wye winter barbel and chub, I have fished amost every week and only two occasions have I failed to catch barbel , with four weeks left hopefully there will be more !

    Hi Ray , I know what you are saying , however don't the game anglers use lead wire without any restrictions ? Afterall loaded hooks are a rareity in course fishing , don't you agree ?

    I've only ever used shimanos and that's because I know what I Like and I like what I know . I have 2 5000 gte-b and 2 8000 gte- b , backed up by a crouch aerial and a mk2 rolling pin and I love them all !!
