For me, its 1 or 2 t-shirts, then a micro fleece on top, a padded snugpak jacket, then a lightweight waterproof Nash Scope jacket on top. Ive stood in the middle of the River Mersey, ( obviously when the tide was out ) in sub zero temps, and was toastie as a bag of chips.
