About 5/6 years ago i saw a farmer empty a trailor of rubbish ,most was jumbo bags, into the dove, he had a look round ,didn't see me behind a small tree and high grass,backed up to the edge of the river and tipped , i couldn't believe what i was seeing, got the camera out and as it floated down...

Try it with an ounce clip on backlead derek, cast out to where you want , clip on the backlead ,bounce /feather the backlead down the line untill its more or less on the river bed, this helps to take out more of the bow and keeps yor mainline out of sight and away from the baited area, it also...

I make them in a cube mould then put them in a bench vice while warm an d squeeze em, the vice leaves a pattern both sides to grip, cheap as chips

Just have a walk along either river with a loaf and mash , great way to try every nook you fancy, theres big chub along both rivers, Regards
