You don't have to fish with red pointy thing mate, i'd go for a change of species as has been said, it did me the world of good Barbel aren't the be all and end all !

I'm onside with Paul on this one, .... that is fishing without changing my hook bait for the whole session - not to be confused with fishing a single hook bait, and no loose feed or free offerings - something i never do anyway even in mid winter. The only reason as Paul intimated is it...

Would you expect anything else Paul ? I've given up reporting to the EA both pollution incidents, and out of season poachers, fortunately i was able to deal with the poachers myself, but obviously not nick them, fed up to the back teeth with the EA !

It would be so easy for a vet to dart it with a sedative, load it into the back of a truck, and take it back to the coast, and release it with all its mates, where i'm pretty sure it would be much happier, a few beaters would be enough to scare it away from the river to stop it escaping until...

Plastic is only one part of the problem(s) that have been manifesting themselves as a result of humanities activities particularly over the last 100 years or so, at the bottom of all these problems is one driving issue.... the ever growing human population, caused by our ability to over ride...

I hear what you're saying Rich, and i'm with you 100% , But whilst we can do our bit, and put it in the recycle bin...(of which a lot apparently doesn't get recycled) ... the mere fact we keep buying the stuff perpetuates the problem, but who would be the first to say i'm refusing to buy any...

Apparently it was 1907 - 111 years ago plastic was first invented we've been sliding towards the point we are now ever since, it'll take at least that long to claw our way out of it ... if governments of the world are determined enough to see it through, but like so many things threatening our...
