My floats arrived this morning Richard.
They look awesome with the thick tip and wire stem 😍..Don't think I'll have any issues spotting them down the swim 😄

After improvising for a while using a wide mesh spoon net attached to a bankstick with a carabena clipping it to a belt i decided to buy a proper one and opted for the Korum Glide 26" wading net.
Its attached to a cord with a magnet at the end which attaches to the back of my waistcoat or waders.
That's great to hear Josh as I have the 16 foot #2, but only had fish up to 3.5lb so far.
I noticed when I started using it how light the tip section is considering it's designed for chub and barbel.
That's given me the confidence I need now to push it a little more 😉
I've just 'downsized' and bought a korum progress roversack 25L.
I can fit everything in i need for the short sessions i usually have, and the legs from my Korum compact accessory chair fit on the side.
I was surprised how similar your Trevor West 11 foot 1.75 felt like my Torrix!
...And the Green colour in that sunlight was 'almost' as stunning as my burgundy Torrix 😍😆
Regarding youtube videos on Barbel Fishing I'd say there are probably more "Carbelling" style videos out there than the 'Traditionalist' way of fishing for barbel.
If you are on much larger rivers such as the Tidal Trent then Carbelling certainly has its place I'd say , but on a small snaggy...

I've been a member for a fair few years and remember the old bfw with some of the regular characters back then.
I do think it's better now with far less 'Bickering' 😁
