Found it ! Truncated article from the editorial from ANGLING - June1963. Price: 2s 6d. Reproduced on RDAA forum a while ago.
THE latter part of this article may seem to be fantastic. But it is fact, and several residents in River Way and Hurn Way, two miles west of Christchurch, will not forget...
Funnily enough I tidied my garage last weekend having recently acquired a lock up to store my boat in and as part of that activity I bought a rod storage rack to store my rods in both with and without reels attached in necessary. Therefore I know exactly what I have and the list is as follows in...

Well done to all who posted. A very enjoyable close season read and makes me a little nostalgic. When I was a boy I spent a lot of seasons chasing tench on the Royal ponds around Richmond and Hampton court with the occasional foray into Hampshire. Have been living near Preston for over twenty...
The same two as Dave C above for me. Been fishing them for over forty years now and usually catch something decent on my three or four week long trips per year. On the Avon syndicate in particular there are some huge barbel and chub although they are not easy.

Thanks gents, about to set off in the morning for my last week on the H Avon and am looking to incorporate it into my roving set up. Hope to be able to report a barb or two. As usual the anticipation of a full week on the river means I will probably struggle to sleep tonight ! Good luck to all...
Which knot do you guys use to connect the fluro to the braid on a combi rig or would I be better off using a micro swivel and my existing knots that I have confidence with to connect the two ?
