Also great rods, I have a couple and a couple of P1's. If you're buying two I'd get one of each to cover different situations/distances etc. The X1 falls somewhere between the P1 and the BB but I've never handled one.
Treat yourself they're worth the wait.
Better than what? discussing a subject that relates to angling and the integrity of it?
Us forum members have done no wrong by discussing and offering opinions on the matter, which ever side of the fence you sit, some may think he's at fault (I personally reserve judgement until I know the full...
Same as. I've been spooked out of my skin on a few occasions, especially on a pitch dark night, do ghosts prefer dark nights?? but I go back, the rational me knows it was a badger, deer, rabbit, demon!
None of which can hurt me👹
I had a size 8 barb deep in my finger last season, I gripped the forceps on it and got my daughters bf to pull it out (after I looked away). It wouldn't budge, turned out he was trying to be gentle so not to hurt me, I explained the stuck on band aid situation, another more positive attempt saw...

The most "out there" book I've ever read was "A clockwork orange" and a bloody hard read it was!
Daiwa j braid x8 is relatively cheap. I have the 20lb on a spinning rod I use on the boat at sea and the 4x in 5.5lb on a drop shot set up that has yet to see the light of day. The 20lb is really nice to use, can't comment on the 4x-5.5lb in use but first impressions were good compared to other...
A litre of water weighs 1 kilo, add a flask and you could be almost doubling that.
A small stove plus a litre of water and gas is neglibibly more.
Enjoy a fresh brew 😉
I recently got two of these in the 5000 size for my roach rods. They might seem on the big size but after comparing the 2500, 3000, 4000 and 5000., I settled on the 5000 for the spool size for (rightly or wrongly) increased casting distance on some of the bigger waters I plan to fish. Also I can...
