The one that was on before is a lot smaller, I think I'll keep it as a summer guard for when there are a just a few puddles here and there ๐ To be honest, the big ugly one that's on now does a much better job. Function over form!
That rear mudguard was a purchase made because of the state I got in on the previous ride ๐ was just making the point I do, and the bike does, get dirty lol
Keith, I bought a brand new pair of these exact rods last year for smaller river fishing. For the money very well made and nice looking rods. I've caught barbel from tight snaggy swims on the Yorkshire Derwent to over 9lb on them and I have no complaints with the power or action of them at all...
Yes! ๐ I have a 14 mile ride from my door and back that encompasses 3 local club ponds. Takes me about an hour or so and is a nice countryside ride. Handy for checking if ponds are iced over and perhaps handy if I happen to have a small bag of boilies in my back pack ;);)๐

Great price that! Had 3 x pairs from Charlies now (two for me, one for the wife) and always good service. Been out in the snowlines over the last few days and lovely boots to walk in :)
Beautiful car Graham. When I came out of company cars a few years back I looked at an A4 Avant Quattro Special Edition, that was the 2.0 TDI version (170bhp) and the most amazing deep red/orange colour. I dithered over it for a couple of days before thinking I would go for it. When I made the...
3rd go with mine today, 5 hours stillwater piking (no fish :( ๐ ).
Granted it's not freezing out, 5 or 6 degrees air temp but no sun so felt chilly. Set socks on medium. I've had lovely toasty feet all the time I've been out. 2 bars power remaining when back to car. They certainly add another...
Just an update on the socks as I donned them again yesterday...
Not quite so positive, although not particularly fault of the sock. The air temp was forecast to be quite low yesterday, anywhere from 2 to 6 degrees in the time that was I out (frosty start, mild in the middle, cold again as the...
