    Hi guys, does anyone use the Sportera GR range of reels? bought my first one around ten years ago, It never had any problem, always did its job, good for carp fishing also. Getting a bit too expensive now but I am sure mine will go the distance.

    so how long/short would the actual hook link be? would a ready tied hook link of say 18ins looped to a mainline trace of 3feet cause any problems with snagging and does this presentation spook the quarry/fish.?

    Does anyone know the current situation regarding Beales Corner and the bridge? It is fully open, one-way traffic or closed at the moment, staying at Highley in July. A few weeks off I know but forewarned is forearmed.

    Lightweight quiver and backpack.

    Morning Gents, I have a Korum River Brolly which is excellent but a tad heavy. I am looking for a lightweight quiver that will take the Brolly plus one or two rodrests. Can anyone advise from experience please. While I am here, a lightweight rucksack is needed as well.

    got 2 pairs, good in v/cold weather, very tight though on the feet and find a tad uncomfortable.

    Berkley makes the best lines, and American tech has as always taken the lead. The rest follow.

    Question for the braid users out there

    Used braid once, the force of the current set up a vibration in my line. A bit like what you can get when sea fishing with 30lb mono when sea fishing in a strong tide.. So, don't like the stuff.
