Yea my travelling companion is a brickie and we have used his in the past. Better for the car though if I invest in something that folds down.

Thinking of buying a barrow for some of the longer walks on the Trent. Considering Nash Metro, Carpporter mk2 fatboy/puncture proof or the cheaper carp zone. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Original fox floodwater 2.75 Ard 008 model. Comes with spare section with 4 quiver tips.Slightly bigger tip ring fitted to 2.75 section so as not toget blocked with weed so easily in flood conditions. Excellent condition, hardly used , only selling as I have 2 others. £100 plus £10 postage.

Thanks for the reply John. Yes it looks like a days chubbing would be a better bet but I must say this season I have caught the fewest chub ever. Quite worrying really. Anyone else noticed this ? Regards John

Hi all, Not been able to get to fish for the last 2 weeks, so itching to get out. As I live 60 miles away, does anyone have any info on the likely condition of the river tomorrow, possible water temp etc. Will be going on a Notts Pisc stretch if it seems worth the journey. Thanks John

River levels Just had a look at the new site. If you click on the different times, it brings up the level then so maybe not as bad as first seems.
