The RS is a nice looking reel and works fine, apart from that ratchet!
I bought one because I liked the idea of being able to tighten the ratchet up when moving between swims, Personally I find the rachet on most pins too weak, and I seem to spend an annoying amount of time reeling up loose line...
I'm not sure about the fishing gear, I think they might be taking the piss...:p

I'm sure it's understated on diameter, and breaking strain as well.
I find Diawa j braid 8 strand very good, and reasonably priced. Use it for overseas stuff and never had a problem with it. Very strong for the diameter.
Yes, Huanzhou, I agree.
I had a look at their website last night and it gave me that impression as well.
I don't know much about Nash, but a brief search suggested it was basically a Carp fishing concern, so I assume by recruiting Martin they are hoping to get into the "specialist" market.
Might...
I like 'em, and 4000d's are more than adequate for my fishing and very neat, imo.
I seldom fish 2 rods, but when I do I think they're essential, and very convenient if you need a Pee, unless, of course, you are happy to wind in or just stand up and slash in the peg!
