Hi Rich was thinking about buying a tournament pro 13/15 around £400 ish but found the new connoisseur pro float rod while doing some research around £220 wish so when I get the chance to see one will most probably buy the 15 ft power float ....think the new range will be hitting the shops soon
Thank you all for your input ...still undecided on which rod to go for so will pop along to the big one fishing show in march which is only up the road from me and have a look at the rods suggested and maybe get a bargain

Hi John I already own a hardy marksman supero 13 foot float rod and having had some decent chub on it I,m not sure how it would handle a barbel ? also still have a 13 ft Shakespeare boron match rod I bought in the early 80s (£200 at the time) just looking for a float rod around 15 foot long...
Hi all.. New member here and looking for advice on the above rod as a stick float /waggler rod on rivers like the wye ,severn etc ...would it powerful enough to handle the odd barbel while fishing for chub ? an expensive rod but most probably the last float rod I,ll be buying as intend to keep...
