I,d be going for the caddy maxi too.. most probably the dearest of the small vans but good resale values if you decide to sell it on at a later date
the transit connects (lwb) are meant to be decent too
Would think it worth around £100 looking at sold eBay prices ...I,m based in Aldershot although will be in Hereford for a week at the end of the month so could be picked up from there ...I won't be prepared to post the rod as having read some of the horror stories on the site about rod postage
Hi Robert I have a pair of Greys Prodigy vx 12 foot 2lb barbel rods which have been barely used ...I may be willing to sell one of the rods and possibly the pair
Hi Al ...head downstream from the cottage approx 500m you will find a large pool with a massive fallen tree (assuming its still there) over on the far bank... fish out towards the tree roots you should have some barbel from that swim... I last fished it around 6-7 years ago and had some nice...
Hi Graham ..yes I,d like to think it would handle a DF barbel ... I normally use 6lb line with it but you can use up to 8lb line according to the Daiwa specification
I have a Daiwa connoisseur 15 foot power float (current model) use it for trotting and tench fishing its a decent rod I,ve not had any barbel on it yet, have had chub to 5lb and tench to 6lb on it with no problems at all ...it feels good in the hand and light enough to hold all day
Hi All I,m off to the wye at the end of the month and intend to fish a few swims with steep banks so to be on the safe side am thinking of buying a dog spike and rope ...Do any of you guys out there use one? and can anyone recommend a decent one to buy?
