If I fish 2 rods I like to have them either side of the peg so that if I get a fish on one the other isn’t in the way. Only time I’ll have them next to each other is if there is enough room to play the right hand rod stood to the right of them and the left stood to the left.

Edited my post. 4oz is the heaviest it cast on the 2.25 and 3.5oz on the 1.75

Been flicking 4oz out but wouldn’t really want to try launch that too far to be honest. 3 1/2 feels a lot better on them. That’s on the 2.25. I have used 3.5 on the 1.75 as well but again I wouldn’t want to give it too much beans
