Iv not been into bewdley for a bit so unsure what direction the bridge is closed but know you can cross the river on the bypass and assume you can enter the town from the top somewhere or exit the town at the top and come back down the bypass
Love the Waze app. It sends you on some proper random routes when the traffic is heavy but always the quickest way. I remember a couple of years back the motorway was shut so everyone was taking the back roads. We got to one point down this country lane where it goes to one car width and was...
Just thinking back now it must have been 5 or 6 years ago maybe more the river was full to the brim when the season started so after a couple of weeks when it had dropped a bit I went to arley and fished the peg just below the island. I got there at 7pm and had to pack up at 9:20 as I’d run out...
To be fair you get 16 or 17 hours of daylight so if he was there at sun rise and packed up and sunset that’s just under 4 fish an hour. Still pushing it with recovery time but if they were all small fish and he was hooking them within a couple of minutes of casting it could be done I guess but...
Absolutely love mine. The brightness did my head in to start off with but grew to like it as you don’t need to be staring at the rod tip to know you got a bite as you’ll notice it’s suddenly gotten darker lol. Plus you can always see it out the corner of your eye. I wouldn’t want to go back to...
Mine used to be but I gave up being to anal about it for the same reason u say first time out it all gets messed up. These days I look through my stuff to see what I need I to go buy from the tackle shop, drive up there, forget what I needed to buy by the time Iv got there and buy a load of...
I can remember being sat on my bed chair making up a solid bag of maggots and must have popped one whilst tying it and without noticing the bag started melting and ended up with a lap and sleeping bag covered in maggots lol
I wonder if colour makes a difference. First batch I ever made I went to a lake by me to test out. Was stalking in the margins putting a 5 boilie stringer on and at one point stuck a bit of fake corn on with the hook bait and watched a carp approach from the end of the stringer, ignore them and...
I used to put a couple of drops of n butyric acid in a mix. Beware though cause it stinks of vomit and will stink your kitchen out if your making them in there. First bottle me and my mate bought when we decided to have a go at making our own bait had a cracked top that we hadn’t noticed in the...
I use the korum transition ruck bag and the chair clips to that and goes on your back. You used to be able to buy bed chair straps so you can carry your chair over your shoulder in sure you could still get them
Used to always use barbless and rarely lost a fish but when I changed rods I was losing probably a third of the fish I hooked normally under the rod tip so it wasn’t like it was a poor hook hold as I’d played the fish to the bank before losing it. After losing what felt like a monster on the...
It’s not always possible to unhook the fish in the water. If I can I do. But if the banks too high off the water what option do you have but to remove it?
I don’t see a problem with people having hand held shots with the fish as long as it’s looked after. Personally after netting a fish I’ll let it recover for however long it takes before taking it out the water to unhook. If I think it’s worth weighing I’ll put it back in the water for a bit then...
